I'm needing to rehome my cat, Neko. He's a sweet cat, but he just isn't getting along with my two year old at all.
My mother-in-law found him under a drainage ditch when he was probably only five or six weeks old. He was dehydrated, emaciated, and had a huge sore on his neck that looked like he had scraped it on something. His littermates all ran away, but Neko was smart enough to let my MIL pick him up. We took him in because her house was too full and I nursed him back to health. The sore on his neck was worse than we thought, so we took him to the vet to get a cuteabra removed (it's a parasitic maggot that burrows into flesh if you didn't know) and to get some shots.
He's very sweet and loving-and persistant! If he wants affection, he'll make sure you give it, no matter how many times you say no! He also doesn't take anyone's crap, so if he gets teased, he'll get revenge. He's EXTREMELY playful! He's constantly pouncing on me from around corners, LOL.
