My description: Full length chiffon 'coat' over a strapless gown with beautiful beading/embellishments. (I had small spaghetti straps added to the strapless for comfort but they can be easily snipped/removed if you prefer). Fabulous wedding dress for a fuller figure!
Here is the Davids Bridal description for your newspaper announcement: A white two-piece ensemble featured a satin A-line gown and a chiffon chapel-length duster, both esquisitely accented with sequins and bugle beads.
Original pricing: $1,000. gown asking $99.
Size 20/22 with some alterations to the gown only, not the coat. I should also mention that I am 5'3" and wore 3" heels so that could give you some idea of the length.
I will be including the slip/crenolin and long line bra - both worn once and cleaned and can be altered to fit you too.
It was not professionally cleaned after the big day but the gown has been kept in a zippered gown garmet bag, in the well ventilated closet of a non smoking home for the 8 yrs since my wedding day.
